This is a paranormal romance, but a very different feel than the usual (*cough* Twilight *cough*).

I got a distinct feel of Twilight while reading this, though it ended up going in a different direction. The plot is not bad, though laden with break dancing which I personally don't really enjoy, but the writing style I think could have been improved upon greatly.

FYI Ignore any reviews or comments that say this is a vampire book because it's not. It's really good and has immortals in it, but they're not vampires, rather Jiang Shi.At 275, it's not a long read, but will definitely captivate the reader. I haven't read anything quite like it. Very enjoyable. A prequel starting with Carlo's life and going up to the time of his vision would be extremely interesting...

An enjoyable read-alike if you enjoyed Twilight. Nicole and Zin are part of a breakdancing troupe who dance at a club called Evermore...but there's more to Zin and his friends as she finds out. Entertaining, but not as good as Twilight.
