I recently read the book: Influence, by Sara Shepard and Lilia Buckingham. I was really intrigued by this book not only because it’s a murder mystery but also because it revolves around influencers and what they experience. At the beginning of the book were introduced to the characters and their different personalities and what each of them are going through off-camera. The influencer life is described really well and I love how this book also includes the LGBTQ+ community. Though it’s a good book we are introduced to the murder really slow into the book. In my opinion the book moves a tad bit too slow and things unravel way too quickly in the end. I wished it was timed a bit better, but overall I enjoyed the twist and turns throughout the story. I rate this book a ⅘.
