This is my first taste of this series. I really like the family dynamic, including the pets, being a pet lover myself. Good story and I grew to like the characters. I want to read more of this series.

Mystery shopping has always had a weird attraction to me. Josie has been a mystery shopper for years, partly so she can be around for her daughter during the school day. Read this series from the beginning as the plotlines do continue and the relationships develop and people grow older. This time around the focus is more on rehabbing a new home and less on mystery shopping. The mysteries are things a reader can figure out, but you have to pay attention. That makes them more enjoyable for me.
