Dragon Spear, the 3rd book I have read by Jessica Day George, was great! Her character development is excellent as is her plot and dialogue.

As I have stated in one of the previous reviews of her "Dragon" works, I do not like series books, however, what I LIKE about J.D. George's Dragon "series" is that each book stands alone. That being said, I wanted to return to the next book BECAUSE of her characters to see what was going to happen next.

I also enjoyed the way she left room, in the future, for her to return (maybe?) and write yet another book and describe what happens to Creek, Luka, and of course King Shardas and his Queen, Velika and their hatchlings. Cheers to J.D. George and our shared enjoyment of dragons and thank you for these delightful tales!

Easy, Quick read - with a strong female heroine (Creel).

The male characters support her strength, while having strengths themselves. Love that.

This book makes me cry. No, it's not sad. It's just that it is he last book in this trilogy! Luckily they are all good enough to read over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Creel, Luka, and Hagen set out to see the far isles instead are whisked away to a faraway unknown land

"The exciting conclusion to the Dragon Slippers trilogy

As far as Creel is concerned, all is finally right with the world. The dragon king, Shardas, and his queen, Velika, have made a comfortable home on the Far Islands. And with a tentative peace declared between dragons and humans, it seems the perfect time for Creel and Prince Luka to plan their wedding...or maybe not. Because when Velika gets kidnapped, Creel and Luka will join their dragon friends on their most dangerous adventure yet--only to discover that the real enemy may be one of their own. And if dangerous new foes and volcanic eruptions weren't enough to throw off the wedding, add in a bushel of unwanted relations and a little accident involving not one but two wedding gowns, and Creel's dream wedding might be turning into a nightmare."
