Invasion of the Overworld is centered around a boy named Thomas "Tommy" Feynman, a Minecrafter, and the self-proclaimed "King of the Griefers". For those who don't know, a griefer is someone who destroys other people's builds, and takes their items for the purpose of a cruel prank. Tommy is simply messing around when he activates one of his father's latest inventions, the Digitizer, a machine that can transport things from the physical world into the digital plane. He gets zapped by the Digitizer, and is transported to the program currently playing on his computer, which just so happened to be Minecraft. Once he figures out what happened, he does his best to survive his first night. He then finds a village and befriends the villagers, who are amazed at his presence. Tommy finds out that he is the "User-that-is-not-a-user", the one destined to save Minecraft. At the same time, he meets Erebus, the violent and feared King of the Endermen, and see that the king has had his monsters attacking the villagers. Needless to say, Erebus isn't to excited to see the User-that-is-not-a-user. Can Tommy, known to the villagers as "GameKnight999", find a way to protect what Erebus has vowed to destroy? You'll have to read the book(s) to find out.
