I fell asleep several times while trying to read this book. Really liked the hero, but heroine, while interesting was annoying. I stopped reading at the point where she wanted to pretend to be married at a ball. But what about *after* the ball? You could only marry once back then, so you couldn't fake it and then really get married later to someone else. You could pull something off like that today, but not back then. Stopped reading at this point.

The third in the enjoyable Wallflower series, WHAT A WALLFLOWER WANTS covers many serious topics (facing a life of spinsterhood, marriages of friends, a lack of resources, and, most significantly, sexual assault) with a wonderful blend of levity, romance, and honesty. Roark and Prue are wonderful characters.
