The concept of this picture book is absolutely hilarious and endearing. A crocodile with very human-like characteristics gets up, sits on the toilet, selects a tie, rides the subway, brings someone flowers, and gets to a crocodile at the zoo! But the big drawback is the absolute LACK of diversity in the human characters. The only diversity I see is between anthropomorphic animal characters and white humans.

A fabulous wordless picture book about a crocodile's daily routine and journey to his workplace. Crocodile selects his outfit, eats his breakfast, takes the busy train, buys his lunch, and purchases a beautiful bouquet of flowers for a friend, all before beginning work for the day...His occupation will certainly surprise readers!

The panels of illustration are full of absorbing details. A must read and re-read!
