Hold Me Closer, Necromancer is hands-down the best spooky book I've read lately. It bounces from bird-flipping lawn gnomes and irritated--and talking--severed heads to cold-blooded murder and raising the dead. I went from shivering one moment to howling with laughter the next. The humor in Sam's voice is augmented by the excellent narration, and Hold Me Closer Necromancer is one of those rare books that might be even better as an audiobook. Fun for teens and adults, especially guys.
