It's been a while since I've read Lois Lowry's 'The Giver' but I remember being captivated by the story. P. Craig Russell has done a great job of capturing the essence of the book through his artistic renderings. It's made me want to checkout more of his other graphic novels.

Very faithful to the original book.

I found this story to be quite affecting. I've never read the prose version (and probably never will) though would love to hear discussion on how the story ended and if it ended the way I believe it did. It's a tale tinged with sadness with some spurts of hope.
