Disaster film set during the Katrina calamity in New Orleans. It was engaging because the protagonists were very lovable and a preemie baby’s life was hanging in balance. The flash back worked perfectly in the film’s situation that has no drill lesson, check list or FAQ help answers in a handbook. What a relief when the film finally ended.

I liked this movie. Paul Walker was great in it, such a shame that his life was taken so suddenly.

If this story was made into 30 minutes, this movie would be excellent, as the story is great. In the movie, the new born baby was in the ventilation box. The dying battery of the box left the father had no choice to run to and for the ventilation box, as the battery could only last for 3 minutes and then dropped to 2 minutes and then ... If you watch this movie, you may want to ask "What if it was not the baby in the ventilation box but your sick parent?" (I deducted one star because the long length of this movie.)

Very little dialogue but at its core a truly beautiful movie. Only complaints are it was dragged out & the baby looked very unreal. Otherwise it was realistic & potentially true.

Surprisingly terrible,

Heartbreaking with a fantastic performance by Paul Walker. A simple story that is both suspenseful and deeply moving.

Excellent Fathers Day movie. Very tense, and accurate. Of course the baby was not real, much larger than a preemie. Didn't bother me.

I'm so glad I didn't pay to see this at the theater. It was a waste of 2 hours.

Long and slow. Not much happens here and the disaster remains in the background and is hardly shown.
This one felt small and confined. I could see the ending an hour before it happened. But still, I was happy when it finally came.
Its a stinker.

I hated this movie. Paul Walker was recounting his life to a fake baby, it was so obvious the baby wasn't real, it never moved. I was so bored, I couldn't finish it. I never like what others like. It may have gotten better, but I couldn't watch it any longer.

You'll know you're out of danger is when she starts crying. The first time she does it's always a good sound.
Well, at least you have a child. That's good news.
Abby's favorite place... my wife, she... she really liked this tree, it was in a park by our house... a few years ago, it was struck by lightning. We'd have picnics there. She always said it was a safe haven. Because of that old saying that... lightning never strikes twice in the same place...

So, pooch, you have a name? Hm? Shadow? Spot? Or Storm? Storm. Kind of fit it right now. Storm, it's good. Work with me, man, these, these are cool names. Brutus. You gotta like Brutus. That's like a compliment. It's gonna take a while, obviously. You might as well take a nap. Clearly you're smarter than I thought, Sherlock. You like Sherlock? Sherlock. It's kind of cool. Well, it's settled, then. You're Sherlock.
I'm gonna give you my watch, okay? Here, take this. I want you to take my watch. I'm gonna give you some money. Come one.
- What am I gonna do with a watch, man?

All the other people out there now, you don't want them to know about you. They're a lot worse than me. Folks raiding all the pharmacies. Can't go ten minutes without hearing another gunshot.
That's a baby.
- It's a baby?
That, that's a baby. Holy moly! It's a baby!
- My God! Is it yours?
But, I need you. You know? I don't wanna do this without you.
-You have me. You always will. She is you and me together. You're not alone, Nolan.
-She's listening. She recognizes your voice.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
-I know. But sometimes you just have to hold onto whatever you can.
I won't be a good father. Not like I was a husband.
