Opinion

From Library Staff

The debut solo album of Tom Petty has contributions from members of his band the Heartbreakers, as well as Jeff Lynne of ELO, Roy Orbison (who died prior to its release), and George Harrison, Petty's bandmates in the Traveling Wilburys. It features the hit single "Mary Jane's Last Dance".

This is a solo album, not with the Heartbreakers

This is the album which put the Heartbreakers, over the top; made them a household name (and a staple of classic rock radio playlists, to this day).
