Gulliver, Carole's dog, plays a small but amusing part in the beach adventures.
So what were the cops doing while she was solving the mystery? Some actions just didn't make sense. It's a good enough read if you don't want too much suspense, murder and mayhem.
Yeah! I loved it; it's not going to win a literary award, but the characters are very real, the plot's nicely involved without ever being difficult to follow, the beach-setting is nice to visit. You actually could read it on the beach, if you can't decide between the silly book and the big serious serial-killer thing.
Plenty of action. Plenty of people guilty of something. The child porn is not necessary. I can only guess that the author had so many suspects that he ran out of "guilts" to assign them, so he stuck this in to cover three of the suspects.
