I love this series. As much as I enjoyed the first book, this third addition is truly special. Forgiveness, acceptance and reconciliation are major themes running throughout the story line. Although the romance isn't necessarily secondary, family plays an important and pivotal role in a number of ways - namely, biological family, family dysfunction, and adopted family. How they all intersect is the meat of the story and foundation for all of the characters. And trust me, there are some meaty parts to this story, but told in Shelley Gray's gentle narrative. I enjoyed it so much that I was disappointed when it ended. Fortunately, there is one more book in this series to delay the end of Charm.
