Chasing King’s Killer is an interesting novel by James L. Swanson. It talks about Martin Luther King Jr. and his assassin who is James Ray. You will like this book if you like mystery and/or historic books. Some things I like about Chasing King’s Killer are the detailed chapters about Luther’s personal life and political life and the descriptions of the killer James Ray who’s motivation for life was money. Read Chasing King’s Killer to find about Martin Luther King Jr. and James Ray and their plans.

Okay, this book really made me very astounded. The work and effort put into planning a crime scene and the cruciating hours and skill to track down the culprit. This story precisely put how James Earl Ray escaped out of prison, and after a year of aimlessly wandering the country, he suddenly decides to murder Martin Luther King Jr. Honestly one of the greatest nonfictions I've read, I'm definitely going to read another of Swanson nonfictions.

This is a detailed account of the the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr and the subsequent manhunt for his killer, James Earl Ray. There are numerous historical photos, diagrams, maps and extensive material included in the back of the book. You can definitely tell the author spent time doing research for this book.
