I do not understand why everyone is saying that this book was horrible..It is part 1 of a 2 book series... If you ever read James Patterson from the beginning you would know that anything that sounds like it is part of a saying is part of its own little mini series.. So you really need to read part 2 (Hope To Die) to fully get the story. It is a very involved book, by that I would mean that its in regards to his life rather than simply the life of someone committing a crime. This is a page turner in its own right, and as I have grown with the series novel by novel, I have to say that at some points reading this book it had me screaming why, no, oh god, etc. To those people who said they didn't like this book because it has page fillers, etc... all of his books have fillers!! All of everyone's books have fillers!!! That's what writing is about.. you need the fillers otherwise your book would probably be around 40 pages! Common sense!! As for the recycled twists.. what recycled twists?? I have not read anything recycled at all. As memory serves me, this plot was never used in ANY and i mean ANY of his books. If you think that he is such a horrible author for whatever reason I have a solution for you: STOP READING THEM then.
