This book should have been categorized under the American Exceptionalism label! Sorry, but can never get over the slaughter of over 100 women, children and men of the Bonus Marchers' Village [along with MacArthur and Patton], nor the innocent Iranians killed during the 1953 CIA-staged coup, w/Eisenhower's go-ahead, nor the innocents killed in Guatemala - - same thing - - nor those thousands killed in Indonesia. Nor that the Bay of Pigs plan originated with Eisenhower [called for full-scale military invasion and assassination of Castro, sagely called off by Kennedy, who shouldn't have trusted Eisenhower and called off the entire fiasco].
