Aliens in Science Fiction

U.S. intelligence agencies are expected to give a report on “unidentified aerial phenomena” to Congress in June, sparking renewed interest and speculation into how the government has handled sightings of mysterious flying objects — and if there's any worldly explanation for them. This renewed interest has also caused us to ask once again: Are we alone in the universe? Since UFOs are often synonymous with “aliens” in pop culture, this list examines how humans have imagined "aliens" and UFOs throughout the decades through films, books, and graphic novels. #IndyPLAdults
