Superman's Pal Jimmy OlsenSuperman's Pal Jimmy Olsen

"James Bartholomew Jimberly "Jimmy" Olson is the Daily Planet's top photographer, a bon viviant with impeccable taste in bow ties, a sometimes superhero, and Superman's best pal. There are those, however, who consider Jimmy to be...well...annoying. Is it any wonder, then, when an attempt is made on Jimmy's life and he is forced to go into hiding, the list of suspects who would want him dead is surprisingly long? With the whole world out to get him, Jimmy must use all his wits, disguises, and favors to solve a mystery filled with twists, turns, and turtles. This expanded deluxe edition is New York Times bestselling author Matt Fraction's definitive version, collecting the prologue from Superman: Leviathan Rising Special #1, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #1-12 arranged in the author's preferred reading order, and two bonus chapters from Superman: Heroes #1 and Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen's Boss Perry White #1. This volume also includes an introduction by Batman (ugh...sorta), detailed notes and references to all of the Easter eggs appearing throughout the series, uncensored alternate pages that were too scandalous to originally print (gasp!) sketches by artist Steve Lieber, and an afterword by the author that unequivocally states why Jimmy Olsen is the greatest comic book character of all time"--
